Light
My connection to stained glass began when I was ten years old, sitting in church beneath a stained glass window. As sunlight shifted and streamed through the colored glass, something within me shifted, too. I was captivated by the way light transformed the space, creating a moment of beauty and wonder that stayed with me long after. In that moment, I knew I wanted to share that feeling with others.
That desire continues to inspire my work today. I am drawn to the way light moves through glass, revealing its colors, textures, and details in ever-changing ways. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the quiet moments that invite us to pause and look a little closer, I create pieces that offer others a chance to experience that same sense of wonder.
To me, light represents more than what we see. It can be a source of hope, a reminder of beauty in difficult times, or a quiet connection to something greater than ourselves. Even for a moment, I hope my work can remind people that light is always present, even in dark or difficult times.
